Here's the scoop. The Mos Eisley Bookstore is in the process of getting a business loan to expand from online-only to a brick and mortar store in Mechanicsville, Virginia. But with the economy the way it is we're having trouble staying afloat during that waiting period while we secure financing. So I'd like to give everyone the opportunity to help out a local business while helping out themselves.
There are three ways to help. Choose one or all three.
1. Buy a whole lot of stuff from us online.
We're still selling books and collectibles, and the more we sell, the more we have to go towards surviving long enough to finalize the business loan. We'd love for you to do this one anyway, but I wanted to put it out there.
2. Become a Book Club Member.
We're setting up a membership program where you pay a small monthly fee and receive bookstore benefits. These include discounts on purchases, free snacks, and more.
3. Invest and Loan us money.
It's all legal-like, using lendfriend.com. You let us know how much you want to loan us, and we draw up the terms, payment schedule, and things of that nature. If you loan us over $100 then we throw in a year's membership for free.
If all this is too cumbersome, or you just want to slip us a few bucks all quiet-like, you can still do that through PayPal.
